Principal Airframe Architect

📋 Description

• Lead airframe development from concept through build and flight test.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer and program leaders to meet target requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers in design, analysis, and manufacturing.
• Own validation and verification of airframe requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in innovative aircraft structures, with leadership in a recent civil or military program.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong understanding of load paths, laminate design fundamentals, metallic design fundamentals and
• Experience across fuselage, wing, pylons, empennage; broad airframe knowledge.
• Advanced CAD skills in NX (preferred), SolidWorks, Catia or Creo.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience with composites and machining of metals; bonding
