Privacy Policy

We collect the following data depending on how you use AnywhereRoles:

• Account data: Email address and display name when you sign in via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google OAuth).
• Profile data: Skills, job preferences, salary range, timezone, regions, and social links — only if you choose to fill in your profile.
• Usage data: Saved jobs, job alerts, and application tracker entries (tracker data is stored locally in your browser).
• Newsletter: Email address when you subscribe to our weekly digest.
• Payment data: We do not collect or process payment data during the free launch.
• Analytics: Page views and Core Web Vitals via Google Analytics 4, only with your consent.

• Consent: Analytics cookies (you can accept or decline via our consent banner), newsletter subscription.
• Contract: Account creation, saved jobs, and alerts — necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest: Error reporting and security headers to keep the platform secure and functional.

We share data with these processors to operate AnywhereRoles:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and push notifications. Privacy Policy
• Resend: Newsletter emails and welcome messages. Privacy Policy
• Hetzner: Hosting. Servers are located in the European Union. Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare: DNS, TLS termination, and content delivery. Every request to the site passes through Cloudflare before it reaches our servers. Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics: Page views and Core Web Vitals (with your consent). Google may transfer this data outside the European Union. Privacy Policy

Stripe is not used to process payments during the free launch. If billing is introduced later, we will update this policy before any payment details are collected.

AnywhereRoles sets no cookies at all until you accept the consent banner. What it uses:

• localStorage: Theme preference, analytics consent choice, application tracker data, and Firebase auth session.
• Google Analytics cookies: Set only if you accept the consent banner, and never before. They are first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) used to recognise returning visits and measure page performance. Decline, or clear them at any time, and no analytics data is collected.

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Access: Download all your data from your profile page using the "Download My Data" button.
• Rectification: Edit your profile and preferences at any time.
• Erasure: Delete your entire account (profile, Firebase Auth, and all associated data) from the profile page.
• Withdraw consent: Decline analytics via the consent banner. Unsubscribe from the newsletter via any email footer link.
• Data portability: Export your data as JSON from the profile page.

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
• Newsletter contacts: Retained until you unsubscribe.
• Tracker data:Stored only in your browser's localStorage — never sent to our servers.
• Analytics: Aggregated, non-personal data retained by Google per the retention period configured on the Analytics property.
