Automation Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Understand testing requirements across functional, technical, and automation areas and address
• Work with automated testing frameworks: Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and related open-source
• Debug application components, examine logs, and verify data by writing SQL scripts as needed.
• Define testing approaches and select tools best suited for the solution.
• Analyse business and testing requirements; maintain test plans, cases, and data.
• Review design docs, stories, and acceptance criteria with the agile team to build test scenarios.

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber; strong Java coding knowledge.
• Design and create low-maintenance automation suites with TestNG/Selenium/Java.
• Experience in TDD/BDD frameworks; test management tools (JIRA/Zephyr/Capture/Confluence).
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Nice-to-have: API testing with Postman; cloud-based testing tools (Selenium Grid, Sauce Labs
• Ability to design tests for performance, scalability, and stability.
