Microbiology Lab Coordinator

📋 Description

• Lead setup and day-to-day operation of a GMP-compliant microbiology lab
• Develop and maintain the lab's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP, FDA, HPRA, and SGS requirements
• Oversee microbiology testing activities and environmental monitoring
• Manage audits, CAPA, and data integrity in line with ALCOA+ principles
• Recruit, train, and manage lab personnel for performance and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Microbiology or related discipline (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years in a GMP-regulated pharma or life sciences lab
• Experience in lab leadership/management
• Strong GMP knowledge and quality systems experience
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
