Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP/Python) - Pet Tech Platform

📋 Description

• Own the backend platform: API schemas, servers, and AWS DB infra.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows into core products and agent tooling.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and releaseable components.
• Build core PHP/Laravel API from OpenAPI specs using domain-driven design.
• Develop Python backend, including AWS Lambda microservices.
• Maintain production AWS infra with Terraform (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, etc.).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and scaling production backends.
• PHP (Laravel) and Python expertise.
• Hands-on AI tooling experience with coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.).
• Event-driven, queue-based architectures; AWS SQS experience.
• Production container experience; ideally ECS.
