Commercial Counsel

📋 Description

• Hybrid role based out of NYC (2 days/week in office)
• Serve as the dedicated legal partner to the enterprise sales org
• Own Assembly’s entire commercial contracting lifecycle
• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, DPAs, BAAs, and other commercial agreements

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from ABA-accredited school; active NY bar in good standing
• 3–5 years technology commercial contracting experience at a top-tier firm or high-growth AI/SaaS
• Deep expertise with MSAs, DPAs, BAAs; strong privacy knowledge (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA)
• Ability to balance risk with deal velocity; autonomous in a fast-moving environment
