Contract Solutions Counsel

📋 Description

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts – including NDAs, confidentiality
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment funds and asset managers.
• Maintain and update client playbooks for consistency and quality in negotiations.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
• Contribute to Carta's legal tech suite using AI-backed tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8+ years of post-law school corporate or transactional experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada).
• Experience with financial services clients (asset managers, investment banks).
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with legal tech and AI tools (e.g., HighQ).
• Commercially minded, client-focused with strong relationship skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
