Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer

📋 Description

• VDI engineering and endpoint management for multi-cloud VDI environments
• Manage and maintain AWS-hosted 10ZiG thin-clients and VDI platforms (AVD, AWS WorkSpaces, Horizon)
• Build/maintain images, user profiles, host pools, and scaling configurations
• Test performance, gather user feedback, and optimize desktops
• Work with ISSOs to support security compliance and monitoring
• Apply DISA STIGs across desktops, AD, thin clients, and cloud resources

🎯 Requirements

• VDI administration experience with AVD, AWS WorkSpaces, or Horizon
• Endpoint management experience with 10ZiG Manager or equivalent
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Security/compliance: STIG checklists and CTO/ATO documentation support
• Strong technical writing: SOPs, design blueprints, and system whitepapers
• CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II) or equivalent mandatory
