Senior Lab Technician

📋 Description

• Performs sample prep on tobacco products using smoking machine and wet chemistry
• Performs routine analyses with LC, and wet chemistry for product assessment
• Documents results in notebooks and LIMS per good documentation practices
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors
• Ensures compliance with quality systems
• Communicates with client staff and co-workers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team; adaptable and proactive
• Learn new techniques; multitask; keep accurate records; follow policies
• At least one year of related lab or QC experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
