📋 Description
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle, patching, standardization, tech
- Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, operational practices, reliability-focused
- Design and implement scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
- Act as a technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and key engineering decisions related to Linux
- Drive automation and IaC adoption with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7–10+ years in engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
- Proficient with Bash and Python; Perl is a plus.
- Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar.
- VMware vSphere or equivalent virtualization experience.
