📋 Description
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap across on-prem and cloud.
- Define standards, build patterns, and reliability processes for Linux environments.
- Design scalable, resilient Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
- Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
- Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
- Drive Automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7–10+ years Linux platform engineering in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
- Proficiency with Bash and Python; Perl is a plus.
- Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or similar.
- Strong virtualization experience (VMware vSphere).
