Linux Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap across on-prem and cloud.
• Define standards, build patterns, and reliability processes for Linux environments.
• Design scalable, resilient Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
• Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
• Drive Automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10+ years Linux platform engineering in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
• Proficiency with Bash and Python; Perl is a plus.
• Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or similar.
• Strong virtualization experience (VMware vSphere).
