Assistant General Counsel - ESG and Public Procurement

📋 Description

• Act as strategic business partner to the EMEA organization
• Enable compliant, commercially viable operations in clinical/public sector
• Drive ESG initiatives, CSRD/CSDDD and supply chain due diligence
• Support legal structures and frameworks; leverage digital/AI-driven tools
• Partner with commercial/tender teams on public procurement compliance
• Provide pragmatic, risk-balanced legal guidance across jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 12+ years post-qualification experience
• Excellent drafting in English and another European language (French/Italian/German/Spanish a plus)
• Ability to harmonize global/legal outcomes with local specifics
• Understanding medical device laws in EMEA and ESG regulations
• Strong communication, training and presentation skills
• Team player with integrity and resilience; ability to handle pressure
