Software Engineer (Backend)

📋 Description

• Own the backend architecture across multiple interconnected services, data sources, and processing
• Drive architectural decisions across interdependent systems and document key technical directions.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards for code quality, testing, APIs, observability, and
• Review designs and code; mentor engineers to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans for teams to execute.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term system health, managing technical debt.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems with demonstrated
• Hands-on experience with a modern backend language/framework (Java/Spring, Kotlin, C#/.NET
• Proven ability to own architectural decisions across multiple services.
• Strong relational database expertise including schema design and performance considerations.
• Experience designing REST APIs and service contracts.
• Cloud experience, with GCP preferred.
