Welding Inspector - Cleveland - 1 month contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and marking verifications on metal parts
• Verify part against drawings; measure and document results
• Prepare detailed inspection reports; record inspection results and non-conformities
• Investigate non-conformities and assist in corrective actions
• Communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510
• 5-10 years of industrial welding-related inspection experience (5 in QA/vendor surveillance/shop
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, expansion joints, pressure vessels, heat exchangers

🎁 Benefits

• Contract: sub-contractor agreement
• Work schedule: 5 days/week, up to 10 hrs/day (Mon-Fri)
• Pay rate: $45/hr to $50/hr
• Per diems: to be discussed
