School Based Mental Health Therapist

📋 Description

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in schools and via telehealth.
• Conduct intake evaluations and risk assessments with students.
• Develop trauma-informed, individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain in-person schedule at school sites; telehealth when needed.
• Document clinical care accurately in Backpack's EHR.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and clinical team.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active Maryland license: LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC, LCMFT.
• Minimum 1 year of therapy experience with children/adolescents.
• Trauma-informed care familiarity and cultural competence.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to increasing access to care for underserved youth.
