Senior Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build platform services and workflows for contract-driven data publishing and
• Develop the first production path for platform-managed PostgreSQL publishing tables, Debezium CDC
• Create GitOps-style workflows for contract schemas, ownership, lifecycle, policy metadata, and
• Build tooling to give product engineers fast feedback before publishing or changing data products.
• Help define data product models, publishing contracts, schema evolution, and lineage.
• Operate and improve the CDC runtime model, including Kubernetes workloads and observability.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating production software systems in platform, infrastructure
• Deep understanding of distributed systems trade-offs and operational failure modes.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (design, migrations
• Experience with Kafka, event streaming, CDC, Debezium or related data-movement tech; direct
• Experience building software used by other engineers: CLIs, internal platforms, automation, or
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud/infrastructure platforms, including runtime isolation
