Head of Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own the legal and compliance framework for AI-powered calling and dialer functionality, including
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance within platform workflows and technical
• Manage external specialist legal advisors and determine matters for external vs internal handling.
• Lead the privacy program across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging US state privacy rules.
• Oversee data-subject requests, opt-outs, data broker registrations, and operational privacy
• Own data sourcing and governance practices, including DPIAs and transfer impact assessments.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, US licensure.
• Deep privacy expertise with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA in products and data flows.
• Strong experience advising Product and Engineering and influencing product decisions.
• Proven ability to build or significantly develop a legal/compliance function in a high-growth
• Strong understanding of data privacy, data sourcing, AI governance, and regulatory risk management.
• Experience with TCPA/telephony regulatory areas is highly desirable.
