Associate Director, Local Client Partnerships (Talent Pool)

📋 Description

• Own and grow a local territory with outbound sales strategy focused on net-new revenue and category
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market engagement
• Identify, prioritize, and win new business with local/regional advertisers, leading the full sales

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in sales in digital media/news, with strong outbound/new business development
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets, especially via new logo acquisition
• Strong presence in selling to senior decision-makers
• Experience developing territory or category-level sales strategies
• Understanding of digital media, online marketing tech, and Axios’ competitive landscape
• Willingness to travel and represent Axios in-market
