Sample Receiving Technician

📋 Description

• Log and track receipt/shipment of samples into/out of the laboratory
• Verify sample receipt against Chain of Custody (COC) and resolve discrepancies
• Log samples into LIMS and assign job numbers for tracking
• Label samples and deliver to laboratories for analysis
• Prepare bottle kits for client collection and return analysis, following EPA/DOT requirements
• Ship samples to other labs per DOT regulations when not analyzed locally

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid state driver’s license
• Basic computer skills; data entry into LIMS and manage multiple emails
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and stand for long periods
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional English reading/writing/speaking proficiency
