Job Description
📋 Description
- Coordinate LGC Environmental Health and Safety programs with EHS Director and staff
- Support day-to-day safety needs with laboratories, spaces, and operations
- Lead safety inspections, corrective actions, and monthly safety meetings
- Manage EHS-related documentation and records
- Monitor compliance with federal/state/local EHS regulations
- Interact with site management to implement EH&S policies and practices
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 2+ years of industry experience
- Understanding of laboratory and chemical safety
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Independent decision-making and strong communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
