📋 Description
- Coordinate manuscript workflows from initial submission through acceptance and preparation for
- Review submitted manuscripts against guidelines to ensure readiness for peer review.
- Manage manuscript workflows in tracking systems, monitor progress and ensure timely movement
- Invite, assign, and support peer reviewers; follow up with authors, editors, and reviewers on
- Monitor status, identify bottlenecks, and resolve or escalate issues affecting turnaround times.
- Ensure acceptance manuscripts have all required documentation and files (author info, editable
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Publishing, Communications, or related
- Experience in scholarly publishing, journal operations, content management, editorial support, or
- Familiarity with manuscript management platforms such as Sage Track, ScholarOne, Editorial Manager
- Knowledge of academic publishing standards and citation styles (APA, Chicago, ASA, AMA, CSE)
- Strong written and verbal communication; high attention to detail and accuracy, quality, and
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; able to manage multiple journals
