Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Embed with product and engineering: review features, integrations, launches; provide go/no-go risk
• Handle privacy and AI issues inside the product: data use, consent, deletion controls end-to-end.
• Own product-facing terms: beta terms, partner terms, and user communications for product changes.
• Run our AI compliance mechanics: track transparency and content duties; map obligations to roadmap.
• Answer consumer and platform questions at scale: marketing claims, protection across EEA/US
• Build systems, not queues: develop internal legal tooling and guides for repeatable reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant experience: law degree and qualification in EU/UK/US; 3–6 years practice in product/tech
• AI and privacy fluency: GDPR in live product; experience with AI-related legal questions.
• Consumer-scale instincts: drafting terms that hold against millions of users; consumer protection
• Pragmatic risk tolerance: ability to advise with partial information and propose actionable fixes.
• Automation mindset: comfort using AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.
• Location: Stockholm, in-office with relocation support; comfortable with US-hours overlap; English
