📋 Description
- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of SaaS, software licensing, professional services, and
- Collaborate with Sales, Services, Finance, and Operations to accelerate deal flow while managing
- Advise on RFPs, government procurement processes, and contract structures.
- Develop scalable legal processes and templates to support revenue growth.
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving compliance, sales operations, and risk management.
- Stay current on laws affecting SaaS and public sector contracting.
🎯 Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited US law school.
- Active state bar; eligibility for CA in-house counsel if not CA-barred.
- 8+ years legal experience; 3+ years in-house at tech/SaaS company.
- Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts with government entities.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and software licensing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
