Safety & Security Counsel, EMEA

📋 Description

• First-line legal advisor on safety and security for Anthropic (EMEA)
• Policy design, enforcement frameworks, and R&D safeguards support
• Sensitive escalations, crisis response, and regulatory engagement
• Collaborate with Safeguards, policy, ML, data science teams on tooling & data governance
• Provide guidance during incident response and reporting obligations
• Develop crisis playbooks and self-serve legal guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified to practice in England & Wales or other relevant jurisdiction
• Experience in fast-moving investigations, regulatory matters, crisis management
• Knowledge of trust & safety, cybersecurity, privacy, or platform regulation
• Strong drafting skills for policies and guides for non-legal audiences
• Technical fluency to understand systems, data flows, AI model behavior
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder responses
