- Own the commercial motion to acquire data end to end for frontier AI environments.
- Identify domains worth owning by building theses on data availability and labs’ data push.
- Define deal structures with Scale’s legal team and close from cold outreach to signature.
- Bridge commercial and research teams; translate requirements into actionable data workflows.
- Build initial data acquisition work by hand, then scale into repeatable pipelines.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, corporate development, commercial strategy, or early GTM.
- Strong external relationship management and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Solid business judgment with rapid assessment of partnership value.
- Clear communication; comfortable with cross-functional teams.
- Independent operator who can start from zero and build functions.
- Hands-on approach to building data/AI data capabilities in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
