Senior Privacy Counsel - APAC

📋 Description

• Act as senior privacy advisor for APAC operations across teams.
• Adapt and extend global privacy framework to APAC regs.
• Advise on cross-border transfers, localization, consent flows.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and DPIAs for APAC initiatives.
• Monitor APAC regulatory developments and translate into policies.
• Support incident response and AI governance across APAC.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• 7+ years in data privacy with GDPR and APAC regimes.
• Deep expertise in 2+ APAC privacy frameworks (PDPA, DPDPA, APPI, etc.).
• Experience building scalable in-house privacy programs.
• Generalist across commercial negotiations, compliance, vendor assessments, DPIAs, and privacy by
• Fluent in English; available to work from Singapore office.
