Purchasing Operations Manager

📋 Description

• Hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA; procurement bridge to multiple teams.
• Own end-to-end procurement workflows across SAP, Ariba, Embark.
• Manage vendor onboarding, PO validation, and payment resolutions.
• Drive P2P governance, approvals, and policy updates.
• Develop SOPs and automate purchasing workflows with SAP teams.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sourcing, and SAP teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Procurement Operations, P2P, Accounting, or Supply Chain in a tech environment.
• Hands-on with SAP and Ariba (including Embark or similar tools).
• Experience with PO validation, vendor credit memos, prepaid schedules, foreign tax docs.
• Governance project delivery and P2P process improvements as an IC.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication; partner with Legal, Sourcing, Accounting, SAP.
• Stakeholder management in matrixed orgs; balance urgency with compliance.
