Production Shift Supervisor

📋 Description

• Supervise hourly employees in the continuous operation of the plant’s production activities.
• Support plant goals, safety, continuous process improvements, labor relations, and
• Delegate assignments and monitor responsibilities affecting throughput, quality and safety.
• Understand customer requirements and plant emergency procedures.
• Communicate effectively; coach, counsel and discipline employees as needed.
• Monitor and improve shift operations to meet service, quality, safety and productivity goals.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Experience supervising/leading people and processes in a 24/7 manufacturing environment (union
• Previous glass industry experience highly preferred
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees
• Understanding of Flow Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement/Kaizen events
• Computer literate
