Bankruptcy Lawyer

This remote contract role is for U.S.-licensed attorneys who identify companies entering insolvency or shutting down, assess the related opportunities and risks, and advise on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor and debtor issues, wind-down, and related legal matters. The work centers on clear, actionable written analysis.

What you’ll do

• Identify and source companies that are entering insolvency, restructuring, or shutting down.

• - Assess the legal, commercial, and practical opportunities and risks associated with those situations.

• - Advise on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor and debtor issues, wind-down, and related legal matters.

• - Produce clear, actionable written analysis that decision-makers can use.

• Required qualifications

• - Currently based in the United States.

• - Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• - Actively licensed attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• - Meaningful professional experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, distressed-company, or wind-down matters.

• - Ability to produce clear, well-reasoned written analysis and recommendations.
