📋 Description

• The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance
• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and personalized care, encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks, perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide transportation in the community, mobility and transfer assistance (may include mechanical

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver and/or supporting individuals with I/DD is required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to provide references
• Attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training (M-F 9am-5pm for two weeks)
• Passion for helping others through person-centered care
• People-oriented with a team approach
