📋 Description
- Partner with product, AI, and employment teams to embed privacy and ethical AI into Axon’s products
- Advise on privacy and AI compliance for global products, operations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide guidance during incident response and remediation with stakeholders.
- Support cross-team privacy workflows: impact assessments, DSARs, DPAs, and third-party reviews.
- Collaborate with existing privacy counsel to refine privacy and AI processes.
🎯 Requirements
- JD and admission to and in good standing with at least one US state bar.
- Minimum of 3 years practicing privacy or data protection law, preferably for technology, SaaS, or
- Experience advising on privacy regulations globally (GDPR, US state laws, PIPEDA, Australia, LGPD).
- Expertise in cross-border transfer mechanisms and DPA drafting/review.
- Ability to distill complexity, navigate ambiguity, and work across teams with Axon’s Win Right
- Fluency in applying AI tools, prompts, and agents to operations.
