About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to develop TRG’s business across European government markets.

We are looking for someone who understands the government buyer and already brings active relationships within law enforcement, intelligence, defense, security institutions, ministries, and other relevant government bodies in European markets.

You will own complex B2G sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract signature, combining your existing network with a strong understanding of public-sector procurement, budget cycles, tender procedures, and multi-stakeholder decision-making.

This is not simply a product-selling role. Success requires relationships, procurement fluency, market knowledge, and the ability to convert opportunities into sustainable government business.

What you’ll work on

• Develop and manage TRG’s B2G sales pipeline across European markets, from qualification through contract signature.

• Activate and develop existing relationships within law enforcement, intelligence, defense, security institutions, ministries, and other government agencies.

• Identify and close new business opportunities for TRG’s solutions.

• Navigate European public-sector procurement processes, including RFPs/RFIs, public tenders, framework agreements, vendor qualification, budget cycles, and other relevant procurement mechanisms.

• Understand customer requirements around data protection, data sovereignty, security, and regulatory compliance.

• Prioritize countries and opportunities based on market potential, government initiatives, procurement cycles, and strategic fit.

• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and commercial negotiations.

• Build and manage relationships with local partners, integrators, agents, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Work closely with TRG’s Solution Architecture, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Delivery teams throughout the sales process.

• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.

• Meet assigned sales targets and strategic objectives.

• Represent TRG at relevant European government, security, and law-enforcement events.

• Travel regularly across the territory to develop and maintain customer relationships.

What we look for

• 5+ years of B2G sales experience, with a proven track record of selling to government customers.

• Strong direct sales experience across relevant European government markets.

• An active and current network within law enforcement, intelligence, defense, security institutions, ministries, or other relevant government bodies.

• Demonstrated knowledge of European public-sector procurement, tender procedures, framework agreements, budget cycles, and decision-making processes.

• Proven experience personally leading and closing complex, high-value government deals with long sales cycles.

• Experience working with local partners, agents, distributors, and/or system integrators.

• Experience selling software, cybersecurity, analytics, intelligence platforms, or other complex technology solutions is strongly preferred.

• Previous professional experience within intelligence, security, law enforcement, defense, or government institutions is considered a significant advantage.

• Understanding of GDPR, data protection, and data-sovereignty requirements relevant to government customers.

• Fluent English; additional European languages relevant to the candidate’s markets are a strong advantage.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory.

• Highly independent, proactive, and results-oriented.
