Director of Finance and Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead accounting, financial planning, and accounting operations.
• Manage close processes and ensure timely financial statements.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, cash functions, cash forecasting, and treasury management.
• Coordinate external audits and internal audit programs; drive improvements.
• Improve processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; support tax strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in finance/accounting; 5+ years leading accounting ops, financial reporting, and GL
• Owner mentality; able to thrive in structured and unstructured settings.
• GAAP compliance, external reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• ERP and accounting software expertise; strong internal controls knowledge (COSO); SOX familiarity.
• Leadership experience with finance teams; talent development aptitude.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools; strong communication skills.
