Job Description
📋 Description
- Collaborate with outsourced CFO to prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Conduct budget audits and analyze budget-to-actual performance
- Support the CFO and participate in Audit and Finance Committee meetings
- Co-lead annual budgeting across departments and programs
- Develop and monitor department and grant budgets with variance analysis
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field; 10+ years' experience
- Alternatively, relevant master’s or CPA with ~5–7 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience with nonprofit accounting (restricted/unrestricted funds, grants, FASB)
- Audit familiarity, Form 990, regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks or similar, budgeting/financial analysis software
