📋 Description

• Lead the Privacy and Data Governance program, providing strategic direction and insights to support
• Lead a team of three privacy professionals who manage Elastic’s privacy processes and controls.
• Advise senior management on privacy and data protection matters and mitigate privacy risks.
• Foster privacy compliance and awareness across product development, procurement, HR, finance
• Collaborate to develop a risk-based AI governance framework for Elastic’s operations.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on applicable regulations and how they impact Elastic.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of privacy-related legal experience; 3+ years in-house managerial experience preferred.
• Active license to practice law.
• Ability to oversee operational aspects of a privacy and data governance program.
• Strong business acumen with ownership and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication to translate legal concepts for senior leadership.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
