Direct Support Professional (DSP)

📋 Description

• Coach and mentor individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD)
• Lead activities: music, art, games, reading, audio/visual, and life skills
• Teach daily life skills: cooking, money mgmt, volunteering
• Lead outings/workshops; engage individuals in activities
• Assist with personal care and behavioral interventions
• Housekeeping and laundry duties; compassionate, person-centered care

🎯 Requirements

• 6 months+ experience with individuals with I/DD
• High school Diploma or GED
• Must be 18+; valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company van
• Comfortable providing personal care and behavioral support
• Compassion, patience, professionalism; positive attitude
• Initiative, adaptability; strong problem-solving skills
