Senior Commercial Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for sales, partnerships, and vendor services.
• Focus on service agreements, software licenses, DPAs, and NDAs for customers.
• Advise on IP, data privacy, data security, licensing, and GTM strategy.
• Improve processes, playbooks, and policies to scale the org.
• Stay current on AI, privacy, employment, and other laws affecting deals.
• Provide practical guidance balancing business goals with risk.

🎯 Requirements

• US law degree and in-house eligibility to practice in the US.
• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial transactions (SaaS, licensing
• In-house tech experience; AI company a plus.
• Experience negotiating DPAs with GDPR/CCPA knowledge.
• Clear drafting style suitable for non-lawyers.
• Enterprise customer negotiation experience; familiarity with cloud/services contracts.
