📋 Description
- Lead the EBS Valuation team in producing Best Estimate Liabilities (BEL) and support Bermuda
- Serve as Approved Actuary and Head of EBS Valuation team
- Lead BEL valuation automation and process improvement.
- Analyze and explain movements in BEL to management.
- Support Risk and other teams in calculating the BSCR and other capital metrics under internal and
- Provide thought leadership to the Bermuda actuarial team and insights for management action related
🎯 Requirements
- 12+ years’ experience in the (re)insurance industry.
- FSA (or equivalent).
- Life and Annuity experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Bermuda EBS framework.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and US Stat relating to life and/or annuities preferred, but not required.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
