Job Description
📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams.
- Advise on product terms, AI provisions, data use, IP ownership, and transparency requirements.
- Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, and payroll regs across jurisdictions.
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI approaches, US state/federal developments, GDPR/CCPA.
- Coordinate with Privacy/Security on DPIAs/TIAs and vendor diligence for AI/LLM.
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with experience advising technology products across jurisdictions.
- Proven product counsel in HR tech, payroll, PEO/EOR/HRIS platforms.
- Ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU/UK/US/Canada).
- Understand AI regulation, data protection, employment, payroll compliance.
- In-house experience in tech or fast-growing env is preferred.
