📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams.
- Advise on product terms, AI provisions, data use, IP ownership, and transparency requirements.
- Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, and payroll regs across jurisdictions.
- Support frameworks such as EU AI Act, UK AI approaches, US law, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Deliver legal enablement through training and practical guidance.
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with experience advising technology products across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven product counsel in HR tech, payroll, PEO/EOR/HRIS platforms.
- Ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU/UK/US/Canada).
- Strong understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment, payroll compliance.
- Payroll compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions; in-house experience preferred.
