📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products, including
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams to
- Advise on product terms and AI-specific provisions: data/metadata use, training, output/IP
- Monitor evolving AI, tech, employment, data protection, and payroll regs across jurisdictions
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI regulation, US federal/state developments, Canadian AI
- Collaborate with Privacy and Security on DPIAs, TIAs, incident response, vendor diligence for
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial experience advising on technology products, preferably across
- Proven product counsel experience in technology, with strong HR tech/payroll/PEO/EOR/HRIS expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU/UK/US/Canada).
- Strong understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment law, and payroll compliance.
- Significant payroll compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions; in-house experience
