📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products, incl
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams through
- Advise on product terms and AI provisions, including data ownership, training, output, acceptable
- Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, payroll regs across jurisdictions; translate to
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI regulation, US federal/state, Canadian AI laws.
- Partner with Privacy & Security on DPIAs, TIAs, incident response, vendor diligence for AI/LLM.
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial tech-product advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven product counsel in technology, with HR tech, payroll, PEO, EOR, HRIS, or related platforms.
- Ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, UK AI, US federal/state, Canadian
- Understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment law, and payroll compliance.
- Significant payroll compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
