Managing Counsel, Product (Payroll experience required)

📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products, incl
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams through
• Advise on product terms and AI provisions, including data ownership, training, output, acceptable
• Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, payroll regs across jurisdictions; translate to
• Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI regulation, US federal/state, Canadian AI laws.
• Partner with Privacy & Security on DPIAs, TIAs, incident response, vendor diligence for AI/LLM.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with substantial tech-product advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven product counsel in technology, with HR tech, payroll, PEO, EOR, HRIS, or related platforms.
• Ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, UK AI, US federal/state, Canadian
• Understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment law, and payroll compliance.
• Significant payroll compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
