Job Description
📋 Description
- Lead legal orientation presentations for unaccompanied children in shelters
- Conduct individualized legal consultations and explain relief options
- Provide direct representation for eligible children in U.S. custody
- Represent clients in immigration court proceedings and motions
- Handle SIJS, asylum, T/U visas, VAWA, adjustment of status, TPS, and EAD matters
- Coordinate with program staff and service providers to support clients
🎯 Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active U.S. state bar membership
- 2–3 years of professional immigration law experience
- Experience working with children/youth
- Ability to represent individuals in immigration matters and navigate complex proceedings
- Strong legal research, writing, and case-management skills
