📋 Description
- Identify and resolve highly complex legal issues in corporate transactions.
- Manage M&A and pharmaceutical licensing and collaboration/joint venture deals.
- Monitor changes in laws affecting licensing, M&A, antitrust, and IP matters.
- Negotiate sophisticated agreements independently with third parties.
- Conduct due diligence and interpret complex agreements related to transactions.
- Manage outside counsel and ensure policy compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in job location
- Minimum of 4 years of legal experience; in-house or healthcare compliance preferred
- Exposure to biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences compliance topics (preferred)
- Ability to advise clients and assess legal risk in real time
- Experience handling complex matters with autonomy and cross-functional collaboration
