Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to support UK trading entities and holding companies within a multinational finance organization.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in UK accounting and statutory reporting, with exposure to US GAAP, audit, tax compliance, and shared-service accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for UK entities.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements and reporting.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation.
- Support US GAAP reporting and corporate accounting requirements.
- Work with tax teams on UK tax compliance.
- Oversee and collaborate with shared-service accounting teams.
- Identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Utilize systems such as HFM and BlackLine.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant accounting/financial control experience.
- Experience supporting UK legal entities in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and audit processes.
- Experience with US GAAP.
- Experience with HFM and/or BlackLine preferred.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and shared-service accounting models.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Polish language skills required.
- Must be based in Poland and able to work UK/European core business hours.
Contract Details
Duration: 12 months
Work Arrangement: 100% remote
Hourly Rate:PLN 261–276 per hour, depending on experience
