Product & Regulatory Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead regulatory oversight of state and federal requirements for autonomous vehicle testing and
• Design internal controls and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance
• Prepare, review, and submit reports with regulators (CPUC, CDMV, NHTSA)
• Represent Zoox's compliance programs to internal and external stakeholders
• Support cross-functional regulatory team with permits, regulator engagement, legal interpretations

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience in regulatory reporting and compliance
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, innovative environments and act flexibly as needed
• Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and independent learning
• Excellent business and legal judgment for cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to at least one state bar
