Associate General Counsel (Director), Employment

📋 Description

• Lead and advise on employment matters including performance, discipline, and terminations.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and update policies.
• Oversee workplace investigations, including sensitive or executive matters.
• Partner with HR on employee lifecycle and employee relations.
• Manage responses to escalations and pre-litigation matters.
• Collaborate with Employment Litigation Team and outside counsel.

🎯 Requirements

• 8 to 12+ years of employment law in high-tech/medical devices.
• Expertise in federal employment law; deep knowledge of California or Georgia.
• Experience leading investigations.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders with business-focused legal judgment.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• High integrity and cross-functional leadership.
