VP Trade Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead global trade compliance for medical devices, software, and related parts.
• Establish training for manufacturing, service, distributors, and logistics teams.
• Interface with customs, regulators, brokers, and external advisors.
• Oversee trade systems integrated with ERP, WMS, and TMS.
• Ensure HS codes, ECCNs, valuation, origin, and serialization accuracy.
• Drive automation to reduce delays and improve audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Strategic leadership across R&D, manufacturing, service, and distribution.
• Regulatory and medical device compliance across global markets.
• Experience with FDA, EU MDR, UKCA, PMDA, NMPA, ANVISA, etc.
• Governance: HS classification, valuation, country of origin, FTAs, sanctions checks.
• Lead audits, disclosures, and corrective actions with Legal/QA.
• Strong track record of compliant operations and zero material violations.
