Software Engineer II (Networking) - Platform Infra

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable and robust application networking features to enhance performance.
• Analyze performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks in application networking. Conduct load testing
• Identify and tackle application networking issues to enhance performance. Conduct root cause
• Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to discuss and fulfill their Application

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing software in Golang with an emphasis on networking components that
• Experience working with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane) are also
• Knowledge with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking ecosystem
• Proficient in using AI tools to enhance code functionality and maintainability
• Curiosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scale
• A collaborative approach: welcoming feedback, sharing context, learning from teammates
