Senior Healthcare Payer Performance Analyst

📋 Description

• Analyze physician, facility, and ancillary contracts, claims data, fee schedules, and reimbursement
• Identify trends, variances, discrepancies, and financial/operational impacts.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to distinguish configuration, interpretation, and processing issues.
• Use advanced Excel and BI tools to organize, validate, interpret, and summarize data.
• Lead analytical workstreams from investigation through recommendations.
• Partner with contracting, reimbursement, operations, analytics, and leadership teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare admin, business, finance, or related discipline.
• 5–7+ years in healthcare data analysis, reimbursement analytics, contract management, or related
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, contract language, fee schedules, and payment
• Experience with payment variance/root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Advanced analytical and critical-thinking capabilities; ability to handle large datasets.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and revenue codes.
